THE STORY BEGINS

Guile Serdio is a liar and a devoted husband. A coward and a fearless soldier. A man searching and a man already lost. And now that his wife’s gone, things only seem to get more complicated.

Fleeing from a past he’d rather forget, he travels to the continent of Almaris with the hopes of starting over. However, instead of finding peace, he once again finds himself in the middle of another war. And to make matters worse, this time it's a war he helped start. Now with nowhere left to run and nowhere left to hide, he’s forced to come face to face with the one thing he fears the most – himself.
